Do the vehicles come with snow chains?
Yes — chains are fitted to the boot of every 4WD through the ski season, with a two-minute demo at pickup if you have not used them before.
Can I drive to the ski fields?
That is what the fleet is for. Our 4WDs are made for the access roads to Treble Cone, Cardrona, The Remarkables and Coronet Peak. We will talk you through conditions before you go.
Is insurance included?
Comprehensive insurance is included on every hire, with the excess covered by the bond held at pickup.
Can I pick up in Queenstown and drop in Wanaka?
Yes. One-way hires between our Wanaka and Queenstown pickups are easy to arrange — choose them at checkout.
What licence do I need?
A full NZ or overseas licence is fine. A non-English licence needs an international driving permit or certified translation.
